USDEC will be hosting a U.S. Dairy Protein Innovation trade seminar themed "U.S. Dairy Industry 3.0 - Evolving Protein Ingredient Capacity and Future Horizons for New Product Innovation" in Tokyo targeting R&D and management staff of health and wellness focused food and beverage manufacturers, importers and distributors. The seminar takes place on May 23 at Tokyo Big Site (4th Floor, Hall 3・4, Seminar Room 102) from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. as part of the IFIA trade show where USDEC will also be exhibiting. Aiming to spur expanded usage and innovation with U.S. dairy ingredients for mainstream protein-boosted health and wellness applications, the seminar and trade show also coincides with USDEC's Health and Wellness Ingredient Study Visit to Japan.

Innovation consultancy and USDEC partner, Kiyota Sangyo, will be a featured speaker highlighting Japan-friendly innovation opportunities with U.S. dairy proteins, and providing samples of prototypes for attendees to taste, such as protein pudding. Additional speakers include USDEC Japan's Director General, Hisao Fukuda, who will be highlighting dairy protein trends and USDEC's Annie Bienvenue, vp, Global Ingredients Technical Marketing Services, and Kristi Saitama, vp of Global Ingredients Marketing, who will share innovative U.S. dairy protein prototype concepts from China and Southeast Asia, respectively. U.S. suppliers will also discuss the United States' evolving dairy ingredient product portfolios and supply capacity as part of a panel discussion.
