New Update on Company Registration Requirements for China.

Last night, USDEC's China Office was informed by the Chinese General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) that previously registered exporter information has been successfully migrated into China's new exporter filing system, which is now operational.  Therefore, exporters who previously registered with AQSIQ in 2012 using the old system are not required to re-register, as previously announced. But exporters are asked to verify their company has been migrated to the new system. In order to verify your company is registered in the new system, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the website: http://ire.eciq.cn/. If the website does not appear in English, you can right click on your mouse and choose "translate to English" from the menu that appears.
  2. Click on the link at the BOTTOM of the MIDDLE BOX that says "the record list query".
  3. In the box on the top left of the page entitled "name (in English)," type your company name.
  4. Click the blue "search" button on the upper right side of the page.
  5. If your company name appears, you do not need to take any action.  If your company name does not appear, delete your company name and try using your previously issued 11-digit filing number (typically starts with 840) in the field designated "Record No."

If you cannot pull up your registration information please contact Matt McKnight (mmcknight@usdec.org) or Mitch Bowling (mbowling@usdec.org) at 703-528-3049.

In response to numerous inquiries, USDEC wants to make clear that the facility registration (CNCA Plant Registration) measure is a separate process not impacted by the exporter registration filing system. AQSIQ only implemented the exporter registration filing system to register companies as exporters.
