European Union Issues Changes to Retaliatory Tariffs Imposed on U.S. Dairy

The EU and the U.S. have agreed to suspend all their respective retaliatory tariffs, imposed as part of the ongoing Airbus-Boeing aircraft dispute, for a four-month period while both sides work to resolve the issue. The suspension of all retaliatory tariffs came into force on midnight March 10, 2021, and unless an agreement is reached, the additional retaliatory tariffs will be reapplied on July 11, 2021. Volume 1 of the USDEC Export Guide has been updated to reflect the temporary removal of the EU's retaliatory tariffs.

The November 10, 2020 Member Alert detailing the retaliatory tariffs can be found here.
