USDEC learned today that the Turkish government and the U.S. government have agreed to an extension through July of 2014 for use of the existing APHIS export certificate for Turkey. Effective immediately, exporters may request the APHIS certificate for dairy products destined for Turkey from their APHIS area office. The certificate will remain unchanged from its previous version, but it may take APHIS a few days to update their IREGS website.
