AMS to Launch New Electronic Certificate Application System

AMS Dairy Grading is launching the Agriculture Trade Licensing & Attestation Solution (ATLAS) on May 6, 2021. ATLAS is the first phase of an improved electronic trade certification system (eTDE) for use by the dairy industry. This new online certificate application system will eventually replace eDocs as the online application portal for AMS certificates.

In preparation for the launch of ATLAS, AMS Dairy Grading is holding training for exporters on April 29, 2021 at 11 am ET and May 4, 2021 at 2 pm ET. The same information will be presented in each session, so exporters may choose the date that works best for their schedule. No registration is required. Exporters may visit the AMS ATLAS website for more details and to obtain the link the day of the training.

The initial launch of ATLAS will include the certificates now available in eDocs. AMS plans to eventually include all of its sanitary certificates in ATLAS. AMS will continue issuing paper certificates when ATLAS launches, though the ultimate goal is to move towards transmission of electronic health certificates.

AMS will post updated guidance and information on the ATLAS system on this AMS ATLAS website. Contact AMS Dairy Grading at AskDairy@usda.gov with any questions on the ATLAS rollout, or AtlasAdmin@usda.gov for technical support with the new system.
