China - Global Dairy Market Outlook Webinar

March 15, 2024

China (virtual)

The U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) is starting this New Year of the Dragon by organizing a Global Dairy Market Outlook Webinar to share the latest data and trade forecast.

The 90-minute webinar will be aired on March 15, 2024, at 10 am China Standard Time (which is U.S. March 14, 10 p.m. EDT).

We have planned an informative event that should interest Chinese customers, food and beverage buyers, and end-users. During the webinar, we'll review what happened in China, the U.S., and global dairy trade in 2023, and discuss key market factors that will influence dairy and dairy ingredients demand and trade in the year ahead.

Monica Ganley, Sr. Director of Global Trade Analysis from USDEC's global economic affairs team, will discuss key signposts for 2024, reviewing 2023 U.S. and global supply/demand outcomes, export expectations for 2024, and what it all means for opportunities for U.S. dairy customers in China and Asia.

We will have Mr. Bing Chen, Chief Dairy Economist from the Dairy Association of China to review China's domestic demand and production.

Daejin Lee, Global Head of Research for Fertistream and an expert on the shipping industry, will also share perspectives on key developments regarding shipping routes, container availability, voyage time, and other logistical considerations influencing import/export shipments.

The webinar will offer simultaneously Chinese and English audio and most accompanying slides will be bilingual. Participants will have the option to register in advance and select the language they prefer.
