Convenience Food Conference

This year again USDEC is collaborating with the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST) and participating in their 25th Convenience Food Conference which will be held September 3-5, 2025.
On Sept 5, from 9:00am to 12:05pm there will be a session aimed at promoting the use of ingredients in convenience food to improve their nutritional profile and health. Chang Su, from our USDEC China office will present the global trends in new product launches along with information about the U.S. dairy industry. She will also moderate a panel discussion and emphasize the great value U.S. dairy ingredients can bring to convenience food. Professor Peng Zhou from our partner at Jiangnan University (JU), will share the functional benefits of adding U.S. dairy protein and U.S. dairy permeate ingredients in a variety of foods and beverages. We trust that the multiple application prototype ideas developed by JU and the examples of commercial products will help spur innovative ideas. We also invited Dr. Mei He, Chairman, Geriatric Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society to share the nutrition value of dairy proteins and promote its benefits on upgrading convenience food.
