Over the years, USDEC has become a steady contributor to CDIA’s Annual Meeting. Our collaboration has offered a great platform to share the latest information about the U.S. dairy industry with a broad Chinese audience. The September 2021 event hosted more than 700 attendees in-person and the recording of the opening ceremonies has garnered nearly 400,000 views since it was posted less than one week ago. 

USDEC had a strong participation, and it was a great opportunity to showcase U.S. dairy export commitment to serving the Chinese market. USDEC’s President and CEO, Mrs. Krysta Harden delivered remarks during the opening ceremonies and at the beginning of the USDEC-hosted half-day forum titled, Development of China-U.S. Dairy Trade.

USDEC’s symposium featured the U.S. dairy supply security, sustainability, and versatility as well as innovation for U.S. dairy ingredients and cheeses, both through a general lens and one tailored to the Chinese market, presented by USDEC members, staff & representatives, as well as our partners at Jiangnan University.
