Permeate Application in the Food Industry: New Choice for Healthy Food

As part of broader efforts to educate the Chinese food and beverage sector on permeate, USDEC is partnering with the China Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST) to host a webinar on the versatility and functionality of U.S. dairy permeate in food applications.

This webinar seeks to raise awareness of opportunities with U.S. milk and whey permeate, including usage potential and application benefits-with a focus on Asian bakery and snack categories. Topics will include the basics of permeate, trends in permeate use, and why and how food product developers could use U.S. permeate to develop innovative products that align with today's major consumer food trends. 

Several high-profile speakers will present to an anticipated audience including snack, biscuit, seasoning, pre-mix flour, confectionery, frozen foods and other manufacturers.

USDEC members interested in attending may register to participate, but should note that most presentations will be in Chinese. The Zoom platform will open at 8:00AM and the webinar will air from 9:00AM-11:35AM Beijing Time (For U.S. viewers that is 8:00-10:35 PM EST on Nov. 12).
