USDEC is helping food and beverage manufacturers in Vietnam discover advantages of U.S. dairy proteins through a webinar introducing their nutritional benefits and bright innovation potential amid shifting consumer preferences and lifestyles spurred by the pandemic.

The program will feature expert speakers to spark formulation ideas that capitalize on market and consumer trends with U.S. dairy proteins by harnessing their nutrition and functionality. It will also highlight how U.S. Dairy stands out as a sustainable and committed supply source to meet growing demand.

Matthew Pikosky, Ph.D., RD, Vice President of Nutrition Research at the National Dairy Council, will introduce dairy protein's multifaceted nutrition. Donna Berry, Owner, Dairy and Food Communications, Inc., will then explore a wide variety of on-trend product innovation possibilities to leverage that nutritional boost. Product application demonstrations with Chef Norbert Ehrbar will offer a first-hand look at local-friendly formulations. The demonstrations will feature innovative prototype concepts developed with U.S. whey protein and will include technical insights and tips for successful formulation.
