USDEC is putting the spotlight on U.S. dairy ingredients through a series of webinars highlighting their multifaceted advantages, with focus ranging from functionality and innovation potential to nutrition benefits and alignment with consumer demand.

During this installment, K.J. Burrington, dairy ingredients applications coordinator with the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research at UW-Madison, will explore U.S. dairy protein functionality and applications.This deep-dive into U.S. dairy protein functionality and application versatility will encourage innovation with U.S. whey and milk proteins, providing guidance for selection based on desired properties in a range of usage opportunities. This will include lab demonstrations comparing aspects such as foaming and solubility, offering considerations for their successful application. Presentations will also distinguish dairy proteins' distinct advantages when compared to alternatives, like plant proteins.

For this webinar, streaming for trade in multiple markets creates different times and dates to choose from for those USDEC Members interested in attending. While broadcasts will be customized for the target audiences through language and subtitling, there will be an option for English audio.
