Think U.S. Dairy for upgrades to snacking at IFT15

The U.S. Dairy Export Council® (USDEC) demonstrated the benefits of U.S. dairy beyond nutrition and flavor at the 2015 Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Annual Meeting & Food Expo. Innovative prototypes at the USDEC booth showcased the versatility of U.S. cheeses and ingredients in applications ranging from snacks to mini-meals.

Four new prototypes sampled showed how the U.S. dairy industry helps formulators meet consumer demand by balancing innovation with the flavor, natural functionality, nutrition and value offered by dairy ingredients. The prototypes catered to top food and beverage trends, including protein quality, quantity and timing, weight wellness and global inspiration.

Visitors to Booth 1043 learned how the U.S. dairy industry works side by side with food and beverage manufacturers throughout the research and development process to help successfully deliver new products to the market.
