U.S. Dairy Supply Workshop

September 8, 2017

The Regent Hotel, Singapore

USDEC members and your Southeast Asia-based representatives are invited to participate in USDEC's day-long U.S. Dairy Supply Workshop in Singapore, September 8. The workshop will be held at The Regent Hotel (1 Cuscaden Road, Singapore 249715) in Paterson (Level 3) from 9:00am-2:00pm, followed by informal time for 1:1 discussions between suppliers and attendees from 2:30-5:00pm. The meeting precedes the Food Ingredients Asia Show, which takes place the following week in Bangkok, Thailand.

The workshop will include an update from USDEC Southeast Asia staff on the market situation and outlook for U.S. dairy ingredients and the United States' strengthening position in the global dairy marketplace. Pauline Chan, Director of Food and Nutrition Consultants in Singapore, will also highlight how Southeast Asian companies can tap into the functional food trend via the inclusion of U.S. Dairy to meet increasing demand for food and beverage products with health and nutritional benefits. Workshop attendees will primarily include buyers and end-users from Singapore and Malaysia, with limited participation of key bakery players from the Philippines and Indonesia.

Please contact John Klees (jklees@usdec.org) if you would like to attend or have any questions pertaining to the workshop.
