The World Cheese Awards (WCA) is one of the most respected competitions in the world attracting thousands of entries each year. Last year’s edition drew in a record breaking 3,472 cheeses from 41 different countries, where the United States came in an impressive 4th place, winning 89 medals.

To further the U.S. representation across this year’s competition, USDEC will be supporting U.S. cheesemakers by covering the entry costs for cow’s milk and cow’s milk-based mixed milk cheeses produced in the United States. All cheese varieties are welcome, but large, bulk-style cheeses must be cut down and packaged into smaller 1.0lb-4.5lb (0.5kg-2.0kg) blocks.
