Market Access and Regulatory Affairs

The U.S. Dairy Export Council's Market Access and Regulatory Affairs Department provides a number of products and services to facilitate trade for U.S. dairy companies. Top among them:

• Publication of the U.S. Dairy Export Guide, a comprehensive, online resource covering tariffs, import requirements for more than 74 countries worldwide and product standards;
  
  
• A "go-to" source for U.S. dairy exporters with market access questions or problems;
  
  
• Assistance in setting international food regulations and product standards favorable to U.S. dairy trade through participation in the Codex Alimentarius Commission;
  
  
• Relationship building with governments around the world and representation on USDEC members' behalf  to both anticipate and help solve specific exporting challenges.
